Plate Freezer

The plate freezer is a type of freezing equipment to freeze products in block by a number of evaporative plates through using contact freezing method.

There are two kinds of plate freezer according to the placement, the horizontal type and the vertical type. Horizontal plate freezer can be used for freezing different products by using various trays, pans and boxes putting on evaporative plates. The horizontal plate freezer is suitable for freezing seafood, small-packed meat and so on. The vertical plate freezer mainly suits for fishing trawlers to freeze fish in block, or land use for surimi products, pet foods etc.
